                                                          Jada was courteous and pleasant. We enjoyed the meal and the ambiance. While the menu is good, I think we would visit more often if there were additional menu choices

                                                          Food was pretty good, but it was bland and for being a “fancy” restaurant, the presentation of the food was really poor. The mussels you had to ask for a dipping sauce with them, and they came with a dry unbuttered piece of toast. The service was fair our server was very short and quick and when asked for butter for the mussels she brought out 4 cubes of unmelted butter that you wouldn’t even be able to spread on the dry toast that was provided. Glad we tried it but will not be going again!

                                                          The Veggie Eggs Benedict, with lobster, asparagus and roasted potatoes, for Sunday Bruch, or perhaps Vanilla Bean French Toast with strawberry puree, fresh strawberries and whipped cream and a side order of crispy bacon. My daughter and I say both are divine. Seriously divine. We've had it at the Brickhouse, twice, in the past 3 weeks. Excellent service. Every detail fulfilled flawlessly. Busy. But not too loud. Casual, comfortable but still fun to dress up a little. I'm excited about the next time. Maybe I'll try something different. But maybe not. :)

                                                          Atmosphere is good, food is under par! Don’t go expecting great food. Not attention is paid to temperature of food, seasoning or presentation.

                                                          Everything was just wonderful! They even called to let me know that a table became available early as they knew I had hoped for an earlier reservation! Well done Brickhouse!

                                                          I reserved a table for my wife and myself to have a nice quiet and if possible romantic dinner. The Brickhouse is an automatic go to for us as we absolutely love this place. The food is excellent service is always spot on and the atmosphere is almost perfect. Alas it could not last forever as the previous nights dinner was a disaster. From the moment I arrived I was ignored by the staff and I thought this is strange due to the fact that there weren’t many other customers. Finally seated, we waited 15 minutes for a server to take our drink order and another 10 minutes waiting for them. That’s a 25 minute wait for an ice tea in a very slow restaurant. As we ordered our drinks we also ordered our apps and main courses . The apps arrived eventually and were ok I guess at best but an hour after our arrival we received our entrees and they were absolutely disgusting. Unpalatable to say the least. Parsnips simply could not be chewed by humans, perhaps by some wild grazing beast but not me. The duck was so tough it couldn’t be cut with the provided cutlery. This was enough for us we were forced to abandon our dinner and make an unfortunate dash to Swiss chalet for an emergency pork rib injection. It should be noted that the waitress did comp our drinks and apologized. Overall the music was ridiculously loud and made us feel as though we were in a dance bar of some kind. The staff were apparently unavailable for most of the evening as they were all hanging out with the cook ( if that’s what you called him ) in the back area. And finally the food which has never let me down did just that. I would like to say I’ll return some day but I can promise you it won’t be a Monday that’s for sure.

                                                          Service and food were fantastic. Volume of music was too loud, especially with speaker above or very close to our table. Overall, it was great but just a little too loud.
