Unfortunately our waiter was the only person serving the entire room so our service was terribly slow. We had to ask for water after sitting for 20 minutes. Then another 20 mins to order our wine and food. Our appetizer came out before the wine. So we had to ask the hostess to check on where the wine was while waiting even more! The food was very good but the slow service was frustrating. It was probably just a bad night because other reviews were much better. Would definitely go back and try it again.

The Bruschetta & Caprese salad, Lamb chops, Chicken Picatta, Carbonara & Shrimp in creamy butter sauce were all TOP CLASS, FINE DINING food. All main courses served with perfectly cooked fresh vegetables & truffle potatoes. The value for money for the quality of food, you will not find elsewhere in Clearwater.

This is our second time eating at this restaurant. The atmosphere was wonderful service five star stars food five stars. We will be making this a regular dinner stop especially for special occasions.

It's obvious that the staff put a great deal of effort into providing a wonderful ambiance at the Daily News Restaurant - it had a very pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately our main entrees were not up to par. Two in our party found the filet mignon to be tough and substandard. The filet mignon at LongHorn Steakhouse, for example, is far superior. Another entree, the chicken schnitzel, was extremely dry. The beef carpaccio with arugula was absolutely superb. The salads, potatoes, and vegetables were very tasty and satisfying and the presentation was first class.

Everything was excellent and we appreciated that this restaurant was open on Christmas. The service was perfect and the food was delicious. We had salmon, short ribs and veal saltimbucca. We all enjoyed our meal very much. Our server was sweet and kind. Thanks for the great meal!!!

Three of us dined on Christmas Eve. The veal schnitzel was perfectly cooked, the grouper was a bit over done filet mignon was tough and had to be sent back to the kitchen and meal order was changed to grouper. …..Also overdone. The service was excellent and the wine recommendations were delicious.

Christmas Eve dinner was great…our food and overall experience is always great here. Beautiful ambiance, friendly staff, and excellent food. We’ve dined here many times…always a very nice experience.

From the moment I walk into this place, I feel so welcomed, comfortable and like family (that you like!) Service is top notch as is the food choices and quality. The decor and peaceful (not live) music only enhance the dining experience. It's a favorite to enjoy with friends.

Lovely dining experience. Wish we could have stretched it but we arrived later than expected and had a show reservation. We look forward to going back sometime soon and really enjoying the food, ambiance, and service.
