Great spot for our bookclub meeting. The coffee was great, brunch was delicious, and the noise level was perfect for us to catch up and discuss the book.

Food was absolutely AMAZING. Good ambience / decor. Was much more relaxing when the lights were dimmed around 10pm. Service was leas than expected for NYE reservations, restaurant was no where near full at any given time from 7:45-10:45PM. Table for 6 was not given water, drinks were always empty - had to flag the waitress down for refills. One entree and one main dish were late arriving, we had to ask for them. Took a very long time for dirty dishes to be cleared. Too many lights on and young children running around for late night reservations.

Food is very good and service is excellent. Scored lower on ambiance due to openness and bright lights. Ambiance music is great.

This was my first time eating at this restaurant since it changed from Smitty's and I am so happy that another restaurant has moved into this space which was my favourite location. The food was very good the ambience was lovely, tastefully decorated the only thing I want to add is I found the wait staff hovered too much. I appreciate the attentiveness but it made me feel rushed. Would definitely recommend folks try it out. It was nice to have a number of mocktails to choose from and I really enjoyed the Maldives Night I had. Great for people who don't drink but still would like to have something other than regular drinks to drink.

I’d been salivating over the Instagram photos since the restaurant opened. Well, it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and satisfied my craving for delicious pasta. The server was fabulous and the restaurant is nice. Highly recommend! I will 100% be back.

Wonderful, beautiful new restaurant in downtown Halifax! Excellent food, friendly, professional service, bright elegant atmosphere. Lots of variety of both food and beverage choices on the menu. Everything we had was excellent. We were also impressed by the Mocktail choices--very appreciated! We have needed a new place like this in the neighbourhood for a while now, and I hope that Da Zero is around for a long time! (Definitely our new "special occasion place!)
