Pleasantly surprised how the quality of both food and service was top notch! Will definitely be back again when we’re back on the bourbon trail.

absolutely delicious food with attentive wait staff. we had dinner (steaks) and dessert (the Kentucky brown butter cake) and they were all so good. we loved it and can’t wait to come back.

We enjoyed our dinner with friends. The ambiance was alluring and quaintly lit. The server was attentive and informative about the selections, and added favorably to our experience. The food was ascetically pleasing and delicious! We will definitely return!

First time dining at Cypress & Oak and had a wonderful experience. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. The “Mull it Over” hot cocktail was delicious and fit the comfy atmosphere so well. The presentation of the entrees were as high quality as the taste. My filet medallions were cooked to perfection. I’m ecstatic we have such an elevated dining experience in Frankfort. I can’t wait to go back to try other items on the menu.

We have enjoyed dinner twice at this new Frankfort, KY restaurant and both times have been a great experience. This time it began a little rough. Our seating was upstairs instead of in the main dining and I requested main dining. It was quickly fixed and then our server had been given 3 tables at the same time. She was very nice and updated us. The manager pitch in and helped her. We loved to see that. The dinner ending up being delicious and the service ended up being good too. All in all we are happy with our second experience and will come back. Food is excellent and love the environment. The best high end restaurant by far to eat at in Frankfort, KY. Excited we now have Cypress & Oak.

Extremely long wait for drink orders, approximately 45 minutes. Server was not too knowledgeable of the menu; i.e. did not know if there were entree specials (had to go ask) and could not answer questions about where the “KY beef” was from or if it was prime or choice. She was however, very polite and apologetic about our wait time.

A fixed menu with 5 courses that were serves every 30 mins and were bite size pieces that were like warm served on plastic plates and out forks were never replaced during the courses of food. Eating strawberry shortcake with a fork that’s had brussel sprouts on them was not good! No napkins on the table to lay the one fork and spoon on. The dining experience took 3,.5 hours on NYE making us late for our next event didn’t make it to the party until after 11pm . My husband said we would never be back. The waitresses were nice they tried! Also they were out of wine, woodford and most beers! Just a bad experience overall thankfully for the company we were with otherwise it would have been miserable
