Welcome to the second year of l'ecole de Cru! Master our sommelier's tricks of the trade for blind tasting, dive into the intricacies of wine production worldwide, study the classic varietals, and learn to expertly pair food and wine like a pro. Our eighth class of the year is part of a 2 fold look at Burgundy. The second class takes unwraps the region and the history of some of the most interesting producers, vineyard peculiarities, and the underlying causes of these great wines. 4-6 wines, cheese and charcuterie, guided tasting and instruction, and materials galore. Hanging out with Chris for an hour and a half on a Saturday included.

Our ninth class of the year is a slight departure from our winey ways. Cru's Anthony Taylor takes you through the delights of Bourbon. Anthony's history with bourbon includes being a founding member of Cleveland Bourbon Club and a veteran of single barrel selection. His palate, knowledge, and enthusiasm will be on full display. 4-6 bourbons, cheese and charcuterie, guided tasting and instruction, and materials galore. Hanging out with Anthony for an hour and a half on a Saturday included.

4 rounds of sommelier brilliance...Winner's advantage to the final. With homage to Iron Chef series, our sommelier team battles each other in pairing contests voted on by the guests! Wines are served blind; each guest may cast 1 vote per round to help determine who’s pairings reign supreme! Chris is the defending champion and will defend his crown from Anthony and Janine’s best efforts. Including a battle with the staff, and introducing our first battle against artificial intelligence, this year is loaded with action. Who wins? Definitely the guests who choose to join us as we pour through the best of the cellar. 6:30 p.m. 4 course wine dinner served on select Thursdays throughout the year.
