Crowsfoot Restaurant is located in the small farming community of Conestogo, Ontario and stands on what is known to be one of the oldest venue sites in the region. Settled by Mennonites and German immigrants in the 1820s, the site has has a continued tradition of serving great food in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

Crowsfoot Restaurant will look to support the farmers in our surrounding region by offering a menu that combines the community's rich German culture with classic Southern-style Smokehouse barbecue.

Crowsfoot does have its own on-site General Store, stocked with locally sourced products, produce, and everyday essentials.

    1st time dining at Crowsfoot. Every dish was made with exceptional care & delivered at perfect serving temperature as it came out. Flavour was off the charts, and service was well above outstanding. Will look for every opportunity to dine here again

    Second time going to Crowsfoot. First time the food was phenomenal, this time was no different! And I intend on going to Crowsfoot again and again. Great service, outstanding food at a fair price! Keep up the great work staff!

    Mark was our server. He was excellent. Busy day in the restaurant but service was great and the food came out in a timely manner. Would recommend reservations.

    The ribs both I and my companion ordered (1/2 rack for me, 2 Meat Platter for them) were dry and overcooked. The beans were unexpectedly peppery. I liked the cornbread but my companion found it dry and bland. Overall we were both very disappointed with the food itself, though the service was excellent and our waiter a great delight.

    Food was exceptional, large portions, come hungry. Service was on point, friendly and right on time with the food and drinks. Was a large crowd of 11 yet they handled it perfectly. As this was my first time her, I most certainly will be back. Thanks for the lovely evening!

    A great variety on the menu. Delicious fix if you want some comfort food. Waiter was friendly and helpful. It was a full house the evening we were there but whole team worked together to make it great experience.

    Very nice venue with a German themed menu and generous portions with good value for the money. Our waiter was funny and entertaining. Probably not the place to go if you are looking for a quiet and intimate dining experience. The high cathedral ceiling with huge truss beam construction makes for a Ski Lodge type atmosphere. Would definitely return and would recommend.

    The service and the venue are nice, but the food is hit or miss. We enjoyed some of the sandwiches, the fries and the short ribs, but found the chicken bowl and the ribs to be overcooked and bland.

    Food was ok meat platter of brisket pulled pork chicken and ribs was good. The schnitzel was very tasty however the spatzel tasted like lemon overload. Did not taste like traditional German spatzel. We ordered a cornbread to share and it was pitiful for $12 I was speechless. It was the size of a small pancake and less than 1/2” in height. It was small and disappointing. For the cost of the food I think I will go elsewhere. Server was absent we were almost done eating when he finally came by to ask how the first few bites. Took forever to get our bill we were never asked if we wanted additional drinks. Restaurant was not busy. Lots of open tables so the lack of service was not because they were busy.
