The Crow’s Nest Restaurant, Tavern and Marina has been serving the Venice, FL community since 1976. With the freshest seafood and most flavorful dishes, the Crow’s Nest strives to prides itself on providing 5-star experiences for their guests each and every time they visit.

The upstairs dining room provides a fine dining experience with a fantastic view of the water for lunch or dinner. The wood-paneled and cozy tavern downstairs serves for a more casual experience and is open all day.

You can also enjoy their full-service marina, offering overnight dockage, gas and diesel pumps, and all the supplies you need for a day or week on the water. You can also rent their paddleboat, one or two person kayaks, paddleboards, bicycles and more!

This is our third time eating at this place. We’re leaving the Sarasota Venice area in a few days won’t be back until next year at this time and I have to say we ate a different place every night practically and this was by far the best place all around there’s salmon with walnut is to die for it comes with string beans, which are decent and rice which is decent and the desserts are great, and the coffee is great The servers were great. Dario waited on us the last time and he was terrific.

I believe CATHY was our server. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and pleasant. We did not have to ask for refills on our drinks or water as she seamlessly cleared dishes and refilled beverages. The four of us enjoyed our entrées which came hot and delicious : blackened Mahi, coconut shrimp, fried shrimp and glazed grouper and shrimp The french fries stayed hot served in that lovely metal Cup until the last fry, was consumed which is very unusual for this area. The vegetables were cooked to a perfect al dente and we had a lovely evening.

We were greeted by friendly staff and waited no time for our reserved table, near the window as requested on our online reservations. The food was delicious. The salads were huge and would suggest to share for two people. My fish entree was an ample portion and took some of it home. Our waitress did an excellent job!

Always great! The Key Largo Grouper is simply the best. Stone crabs great, if you're up for the work.

We had stone crab for the first time, and it was excellent! Service was on point, and the atmosphere was great.

We had dinner reservations for 6:30 and were promptly shown to our table. Dustin, our waiter was excellent. My husband had the scallops, granddaughter had fried shrimp, and I had Grouper Key Largo - all meals excellent (except the mixed vegetables were over cooked). The service and kitchen were efficient. The entrees are quite pricey, so this is the kind of place we just come for special occasions.

Always a winner. Despite being super busy, our table was ready on time. Service and food were both terrific. Lots of choices on the menu.
