Food was lovely but the pub was very quiet hardly anyone in so lacked atmosphere we had pre-booked as there were 8 of us . I think due to it being quiet there weren’t many staff so it took a while for the food to come but it was very nice when it did arrive . We were asked to sit in the front room of the pub I think it was usually where dogs walkers and dogs sit and it was cold as there was no fire on and the radiator was only aired . We probably picked the wrong day to go.

A limited menu, no specials board and only one vegetarian choice - risotto with pearl barley which was scrumptious and worth the wait. Friendly and helpful staff.

Good food, friendly service, lovely atmosphere and able to take the dog which was brilliant. We all had a super evening.

Limited menu which made it easier to decide! Food was fantastic and despite being unexpectedly short staffed, Amelia and Ryan did an amazing job keeping everything running smoothly and everyone happy!

Great pub and the food is really superb! Excellent customer service and friendly staff. Coupled with a great selection of drinks and great decor I would definitely recommend a visit!

Limited menu choices during the week is ok but the selections were not well balanced. Took > 1 hour to serve group of 8 despite pre-booking. Low value for money overall. Soup returned as luke warm. Service friendly and ambience good.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The food was extremely tasty and portion sizes perfect. A very friendly atmosphere. We sat outside ,which was perfect in the summer. We were made to feel very welcome.

new ownership - friendly welcoming. Clearly from restaurant background the food was excellent and a step up from usual pub grub espeically in this area The gravy in the steak pie was divine, the chips were excellent and plenty of them, green beans with almonds delicious and the chicken leg succulent We all had great meals. I'd perhaps have put actual peas rather than mushy peas with mackerel because they were drowned Overall impressed and will be back
