On a mission to share the beauty of Mexican culture through food, Chef Johnny Curiel opens Cozobi Fonda Fina as an encore to his beloved LoHi restaurant, Alma Fonda Fina. Named after Cozobi, the Zapotec god of corn, Cozobi Fonda Fina is rooted in Mexico’s centuries-old corn nixtamalization traditions and wood-fire cooking techniques that define its rich food history.

Food was delicious, some of the best and most creative I’ve had in Boulder. Our servers was a gem and the space was lovely.

Our 5th visit to Cozobi. It just gets better and better. Professional and friendly staff. Excellent food and presentation. We are working our way through the entire menu.

That tuna tostada may be the most delicious tuna we have ever eaten! Every dish was a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. The drinks were perfectly crafted too. I would highly recommend anyone enjoy a meal at Cozobi.

Our third visit, first with new menu. Once again OUTSTANDING. 7 dishes all great, a few mind-blowing. Beets and sea bass my favorites. We brought a friend visiting from east coast. she loved it. you guys are just killing it. so fun!

Amazing experience at the chefs counter. We sampled 6 different dishes and each one as unique and delicious. The service was incredible, multiple people helped us and chatted with us. Not to be missed!

Another note-worthy meal in all respects. Guacamole to start, scallops, and pork shank with the don’t miss sweet potatoes. Chef’s table is always enjoyable because chefs are so eager to advise on selections and observing preparation adds an element to entire experience. Can’t understand how CFF can do what they do for what seems to be such a moderate price. No other restaurant in Boulder even comes close.

Wonderful experience all around. Highly recommend sitting at the counter to see the incredible work being done. Still thinking about the aguachile.

Excellent service, but I went for the Wood Fired Chicken which they removed from the menu. Although the food is tasty, I choose restaurants for particular dishes. So it will likely be. while until I return.
