Located in the heart of downtown Wayne, PA, Cornerstone is a husband and wife chef-owned restaurant and artisanal market. Well-known for their oyster and cheese program as well as a memorable guest experience, this 48-seat bistro features an award winning wine and craft cocktail program focused on genuine hospitality and designed to complement seasonal menus.

Serving lunch daily and dinner Tuesday through Saturday, as well as brunch on weekends and a daily Oyster Happy Hour from 4-6pm, Cornerstone features 4 distinct dining areas. While the Bar and Lounge encourage walk-ins, reservations are accepted at the intimate, open kitchen Chef’s Counter and in the cozy Dining Room. Additionally, the Artisanal Market and Specialty Wine Shop feature thoughtfully-selected goods, accoutrements, and gift baskets as well as over 300 bottles of wine hand-picked by our Wine Director and Sommelier… be sure to ask them about the perfect pairings!

Awesome food here. However our evening was ruined by thoughtless patrons nearby - a large party of 8- who were so overwhelmingly loud ! The staff did not do anything about this . The noise in the “back room” where the tables are is bad!! Manager / owner said they have done some sound attenuation but they need to do more . Otherwise the space is not really conducive to the kind of ambience they are trying to create .

Perhaps, one of the best dinners my wife and I have ever had. And we’re not young, so we’ve had a lot of meals out. In addition to the wonderful Rasberry Point oysters, perfectly prepared, we also started with grilled Caesar salad, also fabulous. We both shared the bone in rib eye, wood grilled and full of unbelievable flavors. The service was very attentive and friendly. It is not cheap....but we’ll go back again and again.

The seating choices are a bit weird & quirky, but once settled in the food and our waiter were exceptional. The artisinal cheeses were well represented on the persimmon salad. I would rate the crab cake as one of the best I have ever had! Next time we will order (2) orders instead of sharing! The bartender was excellent! Cheese stuffed olives were definitely worth it.

The braised veal was oustanding as was the pork chop. Their wine selection was ok. Did not know you can bring your own wine. Definitely going back.

Food, ambiance and overall experience was 5 stars again. The pork chop was so flavorful and tender. The steak tartare was also exceptionally delicious. Christina and Nick are always warm and welcoming. Thank you.

The only negative is that it is small and noisy BUT food, service, welcome—all fantastic!

Small restaurant with a limited menu. What we had from the menu was spot on and delicious. Great wine selection and well appointed bar. Will come again for sure!
