Cork & Flame can trace its history back to 2004 when Roger Strohl opened The Vineyard Wine Market. After a successful 13 years, The Vineyard has joined forces with Chef Justin Hayes and partners to form a unique combination of fine dining, tapas and wine market, offering customers a single culinary experience. In addition to the fine dining, tapas and wine market, the Cork and Flame hosts wine tastings, wine dinners, and private party events.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cork and Flame in Augusta, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. Our server, Will, was friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable, making our evening feel special from start to finish. The food was, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had in Augusta. The Brussels sprouts were roasted to perfection, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with incredible flavor in every bite. The scallops were cooked flawlessly—perfectly tender and seasoned just right. And to top it all off, the crème brûlée was simply divine—smooth, creamy, and with the perfect caramelized top. Cork and Flame truly excels in both service and cuisine. I highly recommend it to anyone in Augusta—this restaurant is a must-visit!

Wonderful evening. Menu is diverse and inventive. The wine choices are exceptional and there are plenty of values there if you take the time to look. I cannot think of another place where I can get cuisine choices that vary from Germany, to southern, to Hawaiian.

Everything was splendid. The food, Bison & Scallops, were wonderful, as well as the Brussel sprouts. The service was very courteous and on top of everything. The atmosphere was a little loud at times, but it was a full house and everyone was enjoying the holiday spirit. Will definitely be back.

Fabulous wine selection and several vintage ports for after dinner. Everything was top shelf, including the service and sommelier!

Best salmon we’ve ever had! Bison was good. Lobster bisque was good but no lobster meat. Shrimp appetizer was very good. Crème brûlée and apple pie were very good.

What a great experience! Their wine selection is the best in town! Their food is elevated and very thoughtfully paired. Soooo delicious!

For the cost of our meal the food was just ok. The ambiance in some areas seemed good, our table along the window felt like it was just in a walkway, an afterthought for seating. The wine was great, the server was good. Probably won’t go again.

Went there for an anniversary dinner, but our server James barely even attended us and was making rude comments to us throughout the night.
