Core de Roma Trattoria is a casual, intimate, Luigi and Judy's Pinti's family owned restaurant, offering authentic Roman cuisine while upholding the best of Roman tradition. Some examples of our mouth watering Roman delicacies include our signature Artichokes alla Core de Roma, Saltimbocca, and Bucatini all'Amatriciana. We spelled our name as “Core de Roma” intentionally, meaning “The Heart of Rome” in our family's dialect. Our ultimate goal is to make all of our customers feel like family through our cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and home-made dishes. At Core de Roma you can expect the true heart of Rome in the heart of Belmont Hills.

Four of us dined on Friday . Three of the four meals , namely chicken Marsala, mussels marinara & chicken core de Roma in a blush sauce were excellent. The chicken Milanese was good but was basically a crusty chicken breast with arugula that was & tender but with a small portion of sauce, we needed to ask for more sauce ….. the actual meal did not match the description on the menu so it was slightly disappointing Appetizers of fried calamari & burrata with fig were excellent as was the tartufo that we had for dessert . Wait staff were friendly & attentive. I especially like the bread which seems home made & the dipping sauce with the cannoli beans but we had to ask for this & was not automatically placed on the table.

Food was great as was service. Kept refilling bread which was warm and tasty and were very attentive throughout. Have been going there for years and will keep doing it.

A very nice neighborhood restaurant. Staff are attentive to your needs. Food portions are plentiful and very tasty. Can’t wait to go back. Parking is behind the restaurant. Be prepared to walk up a steep incline but it was worth the walk.

Caesar salad was tasteless which was surprising. Pasta dish was good and people seemed to like their entrees. Would go back.

A great and consistent neighborhood gem. The food is made to order and we've had lots of great meals here. We went with the spaghetti and meatballs and bolognese this time, both classic and fantastic. A nice home made cannoli for dessert and I always appreciate a great cup of coffee. Attentive, personalized service. We'll be back, soon.

This gem in Belmont Hills is a keeper. I have been there several times and have never been disappointed. All 3 in my group raved about their entree and the Tiramisu was fantastic
