Del equipo editorial de OpenTable: Chef Michael Stoltzfus showcases local ingredients at his swanky Southern bistro, nominated for numerous James Beard Awards since opening in 2008. In a two-story residence in the Garden District that dates back to the 1880s, the elegant dining rooms are lined with brick and chandeliers. Gulf seafood stars at the raw bar, from local oysters to crabmeat and crackers, and fans love the fried chicken brunches and “no menu” five-course dinners.

    We have a new restaurant and a new toy in our group! Please welcome Here Today Rotisserie to the family. HTR specializes in rotisserie chicken with a focus on local vegetables and sides. Go check them out @HereTodayNola. Coquette and Chef Austin Farrell will be taking over the rotisserie on Sunday March 16 to cook a very special five course dinner. Each course will take advantage of our new rotisserie. Some courses will be family style. Our Wine Guy,Ryan Plas, will be on hand for wine pairings and Ty Hebert will be mixing up some welcome drinks to get the party started. This will be the first in a series of dinners Coquette will be hosting in the Lower Garden District Space. We can't wait to have you in for this special series.

    Great service and ambiance. Food was excellent, especially the two desserts (carrot cake and chocolate tart), which were outstanding. Pastas were very tasty, but the carrot Bolognese really wasn't a Bolognese sauce; there was a lot of cheese and not a lot of sauce, which made it almost more like a cacio e pepe or carbonara. Still very yummy. Shrimp dish was yummy too but quite spicy. Non-alcoholic beer wasn't great, but that might be the case with all non-alcoholic beer, which is an oxymoron. All in all, a very tasty meal.

    We had a great time. Our drinks were great. Our bartender was very polite. The food was good. We shared the boudin and grits. That was delicious. The boudin was a fried patty, which we weren’t expecting, but was delightful surprise. My wife had the Shrimp Chitarra. It was great. The pasta was perfect. I had the short rib. That was not so great. The beef was a bit tough, dry and flavorless. Regardless. We had a great time.

    Very nice evening. Drinks were outstanding. Short rib was wonderful. Steak frites were mediocre (should have ordered flounder). Still highly recommend overall

    Food was delicious, service was good. We showed up early to have a few drinks at the bar before our reservation. The host said they didn’t have any room at the bar nor could they seat us early because they were booked up. As I looked around, the bar was open except for 2 or three couples and the 1st floor dining room was empty except one table. So I asked if we could sit at the bar and have drinks until their next reservation was due and I was told no. So we left and got drinks somewhere else only to return for our reservation and find the dining room still empty as well as the bar. We were seated at a second floor table but again the room was empty except maybe 5 tables counting us. It was odd but seemed like they used the “we are booked” method to keep people coming although they weren’t really full?
