Honoring its roots as a world-class department store, Coppin’s Restaurant epitomizes the rich history of Covington. Nestled in the heart of Northern Kentucky within the beautiful boutique Hotel Covington, it provides its guests with an open and modern environment that feels cozy and comfortable without compromising style or sophistication. The menu features an array of local, sustainably-sourced options for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner that change with the seasons. Coppin’s invites you to enjoy your meal in our intimate glass atrium, expansive bar and lounge area featuring a full-service coffee bar, or in our lovely lawn/patio. The bar features both original craft cocktails and clever twists on the classics with one of the largest bourbon selections in NKY.

Our Barrel Wall is perfect for larger groups! We can seat up to 15 guests at one table, and should your party grow in size we would seat you at multiple tables beside each other. While this is not a private dining space, it is quieter and still allows for great people watching. There are several seasonal pre-set menus to choose from, ranging in price from $55-75 p/p for dinner (beverages, 20% gratuity & tax are additional) but if you would like to order from the full menu, just ask! Our talented bar team make the best cocktails in the state, we have an extensive bourbon collection and can happily suggest wine pairings for the group. We offer one guest check per table (you can pay with multiple credit cards), add a 20% gratuity and if you prefer to bring in a store bought cake we simply add a $25 cake fee. Reach out with any questions and we look forward to welcoming your group for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner.

It seemed as though the kitchen may have been struggling a bit with a large function in the bar. They were out of the tomahawk that we originally ordered, and then a steak came out grey, twice. They service and atmosphere were both very very good, despite some of the volume from the bar side leaking over into the dining room. We will definitely be back to give the kitchen a fair chance at redemption.

Wonderful meal with excellent service. We had the pear appetizer and scallops and pork chops. Food was delicious. Perfect date night atmosphere!

Really was excited about trying this restaurant for brunch. The service was tremendously slow. It took about seven minutes for someone to come our table. Introduced yourself then from there about another 10 to 15 minutes before we can get our order placed. My coffee took almost 10 minutes to come. I ordered a latte. Then once our food finally came we never seen our waitress. I had to ask somebody for my check cause we really need to get going. I asked for my eggs to be cooked over. Well hard with no yolk. They came with runny yolk, I couldn’t even get my waitress back to let her know about that. For the first time, this was not great service. Maybe next time if I decide to come, it’ll be a little bit better.

The food was good. I ordered the yogurt with berries and house made granola and a side order of eggs. My husband had a tradition breakfast with eggs, fruit, sausage and sourdough toast. The portions were large and the food was fresh. But IMI at a hotel, you’re always going to pay a little more. Not sure I’ll go back any time soon due to the service. There was a large bridal party having breakfast assigned to our server. It left her no time at all to take care of us. There were two others servers who came by to get us drinks and apologize on our servers behalf. And, I had to flag down the hostess for a refill on coffee before anyone even took our order. We saw our waitress for all of five minutes, if that. Another server should’ve been assigned to our table. There were plenty of others working. We felt incredibly ignored which is a shame when you’re spending $50+ on breakfast.

The food and service were excellent. The pork chop entree was delicious, large grilled bone-in chop seasoned and grilled to perfection, served on white bean cassoulet with greens. Really savory and satisfying. Salmon entree also excellent. Service attentive and appetizer/entrees spaced nicely making for a relaxing experience.
