¡Hola y bienvenido a Coperta! O como dirían en italiano, Ciao, benvenuto Coperta! El restaurante solo acepta un número limitado de reservaciones todas las noches, dejando así la mayoría de los asientos libres para comensales sin reservación. Si la hora de su preferencia no está disponible le invitan a simplemente ir y visitarlos. Este establecimiento se especializa en la gastronomía y vino de Roma y sur de Italia. Coperta significa "cobija" en italiano, ya que tienen la intención de rodear a sus comensales con comida casera y hospitalidad durante sus visitas al establecimiento. El Mezzogiorno separa las regiones sur y norte de Italia, el establecimiento se enorgullece de estas regiones, la historia de su comida y su cultura. Cuentan con servicio completo de bar y una amplia carta de vinos, entre ellos una selección del sur de Italia. ¡Le esperan con los brazos abiertos!

    Algunos platos excelentes otros como el de carne... me pareció que le faltaba y el servicio se dio cuenta y reemplazo el plato inmediatamente.

    Dinners were both great. But the stars were the Radicchio Salad and the Vanilla Bundino. And tremendous, but relaxed service.

    I went in blind to Coperta. I made a reservation for Valentines night and was not disappointed. We ordered the focaccia and radicchio salad for starters and both were amazing. For entrees we opted for the caccio pepe and carbonara. Both were very rich and filling for being a half portion. We ended the meal with the olive oil brownie which was very rich but not hyper sweet. It was a very amazing meal and we will return.

    Appetizers and drinks were great, but it took forever to get our entrees. It was Valentine’s Day, so high volume and wait time was to be expected, but what I received after such a long wait was very disappointing. I ordered a half dish of the Linguine Ale Vongole and it was the saddest pasta dish ever. It might as well just have been room temperature al dente Barilla butter noodles with parsley and a couple of clams.

    We enjoyed our evening and will be back when the weather is warmer. The restaurant was very cold, you could feel the breeze coming through the windows. Had to keep my coat on.

    Great experience for my girlfriend’s birthday. They acknowledged the occasion and helped us celebrate it. The food and wine were incredible, the atmosphere was cozy, and the waitstaff was great with answering questions and making recommendations. Pretty good value as well for what it is. Highly recommend!

    We have lived in the neighborhood for 8 years and always love dining at Coperta. Tonight, the staff made Adam's birthday extra special, and we really appreciated how kind everyone was!! The food and drinks were amazing, and we'll definitely be back again soon. Love this place so much!
