Rant>Just returned from a attempted Valentines meal @ Cook House Bar & Kitchen part of @ The Manor in Drighlington..one of the worst dining experiences I've had..steak medium well..came mooing...gave them a chance..second attempt 15mins later new steak almost raw. 3rd attempt 15mins later new piece scrawny and tough all this while other half eating..excuses included the probe said it was cooked🤷manager very good but agreed the kitchen were poor..wetherspoons can cook a steak better first time than this place. no meal for me as missis had finished..first time trying this place and definitely won't give a second chance..spend your money on local places that can offer great service.

Delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. Really enjoyed the Friday steak special menu. Staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for a special occasion.

We were a party of 4, 3 had steak and one mixed grill. All were cooked perfectly, the steaks were delicious and very tender. Service was excellent. Was our first visit but won’t be our last

We we there for late breakfast/brunch. We sat in the in conservatory… which was a bit draughty… we moved tables twice so didn’t feel I could ask to move into the bar but should have done. Food and service was excellent … my third visit and introduced friends who enjoyed it.

Exceptional size sandwiches, 2nd time of eating here and last time had chips with the sandwich far too much for me.

Only my second visit (my first being Sunday lunch last week) … just as good. Sat in the bar area. Chicken burger consumed, my friend had beef burger. Staff are lovely, very friendly and attentive. Most enjoyable evening.
