Sunday lunch for two at The Cookhouse, utterly delicious. Pork and beef cooked beautifully, vegetable selection superb and cooked to perfection (roasted carrot and steamed veg particularly delicious as well as the parsnip and roasted potatoes), tasty gravy and a well cooked Yorkshire pudding, all excellent. Service, exemplary, attentive and friendly, couldn't be more helpful.....kitchen had run out of pigs in blankets, yet somehow threw tasty ones were rustled up for us...above and beyond! Thank you to the whole team!

Wonderful as always my friend got caught in traffic so we were running late - I rang and let them know and they kindly let us still order from the brunch menu when we arrived. Great service and such a lovely team thank you

Lovely place to eat, lovely place for a couple of drinks Food was delicious, everything cooked to perfection, the service is impeccable The venue itself is beautifully decorated, comfortable and cosy.

Rant>Just returned from a attempted Valentines meal @ Cook House Bar & Kitchen part of @ The Manor in Drighlington..one of the worst dining experiences I've had..steak medium well..came mooing...gave them a chance..second attempt 15mins later new steak almost raw. 3rd attempt 15mins later new piece scrawny and tough all this while other half eating..excuses included the probe said it was cooked🤷manager very good but agreed the kitchen were poor..wetherspoons can cook a steak better first time than this place. no meal for me as missis had finished..first time trying this place and definitely won't give a second chance..spend your money on local places that can offer great service.

We did try our very best to resolve this for you on the night, recooking the meal twice and taking it off the bill. We so enjoyed the Steak Night on Valentines Day. Every thing was perfect. Loved the fact that te meat is sourced locally.

Delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. Really enjoyed the Friday steak special menu. Staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for a special occasion.

We were a party of 4, 3 had steak and one mixed grill. All were cooked perfectly, the steaks were delicious and very tender. Service was excellent. Was our first visit but won’t be our last
