We went for pre-Valentine lunch. I had a wonderful chicken salad and my husband had the redfish over grits. Both were yummy. I later met up with the sales manager of whom I wanted to meet regarding my birthday and other stays. He was so kind I think his name was Brian, but thanks complicated pilgrim for your excellent service even though it looks as though there was one waitress acting as a bartender as well, but very capable thanks again

First visit to Complicated Pilgrim. My wife and I went for brunch prior to a Tigers basketball game. Service was spot on. Pimento Cheese Deviled Eggs are a must! My wife had the Steak and Eggs which she enjoyed. The only issue was the steak was slightly undercooked. My wife ordered medium but it was cooked closer to rare (not even medium rare). However, the meat was such good quality that she still enjoyed the steak. I had the Cooper Street Burger and it was outstanding. Parmesan fries were a perfect accompaniment. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Today was a Ladies’ Day out with lunch and the theatre , Hattiloo. The experience was amazing. The food was delicious from the shrimp and grits to the quinoa bowl. I have been a few times before; but, my two friends had not. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we are planning to visit again soon.

We had a great brunch! The shrimp & grits was delicious! The location, atmosphere, and service were all top tier!

I love this place! The menu is great and has much better options than other spots in the neighborhood. We had the airline chicken and the steak frites. Both were very good.

This spot is a true gem. The restaurant is beautiful; ambience is perfection; and the food is AMAZING. The service is a bit slow, but the staff is very kind and accommodating. Recommend HIGHLY!

They add on a 21% tip on the taxed value without giving any notice in advance. Great place just lacking in service in that regard
