I’ve always had a love-hate relationship with Como. The atmosphere, and view are consistently great, the food is consistent — and it’s a place I’ve frequently recommended to out-of-town friends. However, my most recent experience was disappointing. Despite having a 7 PM reservation, we weren’t seated until 7:40 PM, and no server came to our table until 7:55 PM. That’s nearly an hour without any service. What made it worse was the lack of acknowledgment—no apology or recognition for the delay. It felt as though this level of service was just expected, which left a sour impression. I visit Como often and love what it has to offer, but this experience has me questioning if something has shifted in management or operations. I hope this was just an off night, but it’s frustrating for a loyal customer to be treated this way.

My wife and I returned once again to this great restaurant (views, service, cuisine). We had the fried artichokes as a starter --- that was a great start! I had the crab risotto for my entry ---- it was sooo good I'm coming back next week to have it again. I really loved the lemon flavor added to the dish. Outstanding!!!! My wife sampled my dish and said she will order it too when we come back.

Fantastic food, view, service…will go back. Best Italian food on the Eastside in my opinion. Great addition to Kirkland.

This was our first, but definitely not last time at Como! Food, especially the porcini risotto, and drinks were fantastic. Our waiter, Georgie, was affable, funny, knowledgeable and a general pleasure who went above and beyond. We strongly recommend Como to anyone looking for fine Italian - easily one of our new favorite places on the Eastside!

Whether you're staying at the Woodmark or just looking for a nice view of Lake Washington, COMO is an excellent pick! The broad assortment of small plates, mains, desserts, and drinks had something to offer every member of our party. The service and ambiance were truly what set our experience apart and led me to write this review.
