We really enjoyed our meal at the Colonial Inn. While the menu is not particularly long, it is quite varied, and we found selections that suited us very well. The service was good, if a little slow, but we weren't in a hurry. We'll be back.

The food was over cooked. Corn bread served cold, alcohol drink was great, wedge salad with blue cheese was perfect. The medium rare New York strip cooked perfectly. Pricing was good. Although I only had dinner at 5 PM, I would recommend this place for lunch. I observed must of the other dinners where being served what someone would order for lunch.

Meh. Nothing special. Food was just ok. Entrees came out before we finished our salads. Seemed they were in a rush.

The place was nice with the potential of being decorated and up-kept better. I know it was built in the early 1700s, but is was the plywood covered fireplaces, furniture and oriental rugs that was distasteful. The food was good and affordable, the waitress was great, but the restaurant could use a good bartender

As expected, good, not exceptional, food. Limited menu. No surprises good, or bad. Generally above 50-60 crowd.

Usually it’s been pretty good in the past. Not as many old colonial dishes here like duck. My jambalaya was not so great with only what appeared as 3 tablespoons of broth. Very dry! Also, one of our party did not have a pineapple salsa that came with the dish. They didn’t have any, then why serve the dish. It was disappointing on this visit. We will not be rushing back there. Too bad, we used to like it.

We met for a lovely family lunch in the Liberty Room. Crab cakes, fish tacos, chicken pot pie were all very good. Service was attentive and friendly. We highly recommend the Colonial Inn Liberty Room.
