Open table confirmed our booking. On arrival at the Coach and Horses, we were informed that the kitchen was closed and did not seem to have been expecting us. Meals were advertised up to 8pm. The only member of staff apologised and said a new landlord was arriving on Friday the 15th Nov. We have dined there in the evenings many times in the past but has sadly lost it's place as the community pub, currently boasted on Facebook. This is the second time in recent months that we have expected to enjoy an evening meal only to be told the kitchen was closed. It would have been helpful to have up to date meal availability times online. I did attempt to book by phone earlier in the afternoon but the phone was not answered. Luckily, there are alternatives in the village but we remain disappointed to witness this and the potential loss of a previously excellent reputation.

Booked to go for tea while we were away in the caravan staying nearby. Nice pub didnt feel rushed plenty of choice & food was lovely.

Excellent day out Boxing Day. Fun for all ages and amazing service. Especially as it was rammed!

Booked on line arrived staff new nothing of it order or drinks arrived in plastic glasses told this was because of a event going on but it had finished I pointed out that plastic glasses are for outside drinking not for those eating in but they were adamant they we’re right then looked at menu it was very basic so all in all totally discussed with it not happy at all as this was for a special occasion and spoiled our experience I’m a local so I shall not be returning anytime soon two dissatisfied customers
