Puesto que es un restaurante muy pequeño, Clipstone necesita su mesa de vuelta después de 1 hora y 30 minutos, dándole el tiempo suficiente para disfrutar de la comida que se ofrece. En caso de necesitar un poco más de tiempo o si celebra una ocasión especial, le sugerimos visitar el restaurante Portland justo a la vuelta de la esquina. Clipstone es un nuevo restaurante local ubicado en la esquina de la calle Clipstone en Fitzrovia. Ofrecemos el mismo enfoque en la cocina de alta calidad, el vino y el servicio como nuestra restaurante hermano Portland, pero en un ambiente más informal. El menú comienza con crudos y embutidos de la casa, así como platillos más pequeños de enfoque vegetariano. Los platillos principales y panes planos hechos en el horno de pizza (un vestigio del antiguo restaurante italiano que precedió al Clipstone) constituyen la segunda mitad del menú.

Lovely supper at Clipstone. Hoggat and onion tart starters excellent, as were the pork chopped and pollack mains. Very reasonably priced albarino wine from wine list. Service was discreet but attentive. Overall recommended.

We had a fantastic experience at Clipstone. Everything -- the food, drinks, service, atmosphere -- were divine. There wasn't a single dish that I didn't love, and others I checked in with agreed. The table size was also perfect for a moderately large group of 7, as it allowed us to have group conversations as well as various side-bars with different people. I would definitely recommend and plan to come back!

My 4th time at Clipestone and never disappoints. Food is delicious and the staff are very warm and friendly. It is a very relaxed environment and always a very enjoyable experience.

Second time diner and went for lunch with friends. The restaurant was busy and there was plenty of noise, so having a conversation wasn't easy, but I'd rather that than the reverse. The waiting staff were excellent and kept us well supplied despite being full for lunch. We all had a delicious smoked trout starter, which was recommended by the waitress. Also, the bergamot posset dessert was excellent. Very good wine list too. It was a very nice lunch and we'll be back.

Came here to celebrate our 5 year anniversary which happens to coincide with valentine’s day, so obviously a very busy service. The service overall was good, nice and friendly waiters very attentive and knowledgeable about the food and wine. The food itself was very good, me and my partner both thoroughly enjoyed it. The only thing that took away from the quality of the evening was that they were expecting a table of 9 people in after us, and were very clearly trying to rush us off the table, which wasn’t ideal. We were about to finish our dessert with some wine and coffee and one of the waitresses, not the one who had been serving us for the majority for the evening, came over to take the plate and then returned immediately with the card machine, didn’t even ask how the food was, I paid immediately as requested and as I turned around another lady was waiting with my coat and as soon as we stood up they began shifting our table around before my partner had even taken her belongings off the table. It was a shame because for the majority of the evening we enjoyed the venue and the food and service as mentioned earlier, but I felt it was let down by this and is a shame, took away from the ambience of our anniversary dinner and left it on a bit of a low.

Had a fantastic valentines evening dinner here at Clipstone. Was so hard to choose from the menu as it all looked gorgeous. Extremely helpful and attentive staff, food was all delicious, wine excellent. Would highly recommend
