A fabulous place to have lunch, located directly across the main doors to the Royal Ontario Museum! Excellent service, tasty omelettes and delicious cappuccinos. Highly recommend it!

We were disappointed that there were a number of items unavailable : No fish of the day, no seasonal soup, no fish and chips, no nagorini . The over all quality of the food was not as good as we have had in the past. We love the atmosphere and the service but felt underwelmed with the food for the price point.

In spite of being early and ordering, people around us who arrived after us were getting their food before us. Once I inquired, our food appeared. My wife’s meal especially seemed like it had been sitting for a while. Understaffed I suspect. Unfortunate.

I love eating at Clay and at the end of our meal I said to my lunch guest, 'This is my favourite place to have lunch in Toronto!' The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming and always treat us like family. We had a wonderful window table and looking across at the ROM is special. The room is bright and airy and the noise level moderate making it easy to have great conversation. The food was really delicious and creative and I look forward to my next visit in January.

Love the high ceiling and the spacing - a very relaxing ambience. The food was excellent and the presentation was artistic. One of us ordered Fish and Chips. The fish arrived very “vibrant” as opposed to just looking like a filet. The Bison Burger was very inviting. There were lots of mushrooms on my Warm Mushroom Salad. All four of us enjoyed our meals thoroughly!

I booked the table about two weeks ago ..confirming when I was there Dec 6. I asked for a specific table. This was fine at booking. When I arrived I was told someone gets really upset if they don’t have that table. We were given the table but very rushed…I have barely swallowed my last mouthful, when our server showed up to present the bill. As I was entertaining, I paid the bill ..and we went elsewhere to complete our celebration. Not the experience that I as hoping for!
