Evening meal was delicious. My only gripe was that we had a two course included in our package and there wasn’t a lot of choice on that menu. My hubby diabetic so a big let down for him as he can’t have pudding . Would of been nice to be able to upgrade . He could have had the cheese board. So he only had one course . Staff was lovely

We have visited this venue on a number of occasions and were pleased to see a new menu. There is a wide range of choices on the A La Carte menu, we enjoyed a sour dough pizza and scampi for our main course. The food is well presented and fresh. The staff at the resturant are friendly and ensure that you enjoy your visit. I would recommend this resurant and look forward to coming back.

The quality of the food was excellent, with plenty of choice available for vegetarians and gluten intolerant diners. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Great value for money and highly recommend.

The food was great apart from my husband desert which didn’t come as it stated on the menu and there wasn’t anyone around to raise the issue with. A little music would make a massive difference to the overall atmosphere and just having the waiting staff check to see if there is anything needed ect would have made a difference.

Excellent food. It was beautifullypresented and so tasty. Lovely staff, very helpful but it lacked ambience. Background music is needed.

I felt rushed when in the restaurant, every 5 minutes we were being asked if we were ready to order when we had already asked to give us time. The menus were still open, which is clear indication we were not ready to order. They need to start listening to and reading the customers much better

Pleasant location and ambience, helpful and efficient staff. The suite (room 3) we had was very roomy and full of character, but slightly let down by the dated double glazing that let in more noise from the road than current standard windows would. The bathroom floor also needs some attention, as it flexed noticeably and this has made the tiles move and broken up the grouting in several places. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were warm. The TV picture kept breaking up on all channels. These are relatively minor problems for a short stay, and didn’t spoil the experience.

We had the Sunday carvery for 4 people. Nice choice of meats, vegetables and accompaniments. Staff were obliging. No complaints
