At City House in Nashville, TN, James Beard Award winning Chef Tandy Wilson makes an amazing array of dishes to pair up with the enormous array of artisan cocktails, wine and bourbon or whiskey choices available. A popular Sunday Supper gives a unique dining experience, but many come for the regular dinner menu.

The dinner choices at City House include starters like frico, pork snacks, and seasonal salads. There are handmade pizzas with traditional toppings and more Southern inspired choices like belly ham or kale. The entrees are just as seasonal and include dishes like the local trout, hand made pastas, and wood oven roasted meats. A visit to City House allows you to enjoy a wonderful experience in a historic setting.

Wilson tops blistered pie crusts coming out of the woodfired oven with the likes of house pork belly ham or local and seasonal veggies, plus ensures there's very little food waste in dishes such as bread gnocchi with cauliflower ragu that uses up leftover pizza crust.     Come celebrate the 90 years of life of our beloved chef Jacques Pépin at City House on March 4th for a once in a life time menu. Tandy Wilson will be teaming up with Margot McCormack for a 4-course tasting menu served Family Style. 90 chefs from around the country will be cooking dinners like this to help raise funds for the Jacques Pépin Foundation, which changes lives through culinary education.

    Eric, our waiter, took such good care of our party of 9! Great suggestions for food and took extra care with our tree nut allergy diner. The food was fantastic as always. The cauliflower salad and braised beef with risotto were the highlights!

    Staff was warm and friendly. The food was innovative and approachable at the same time. The space is unique and the open kitchen is fun to watch. I may have dimmed the lights slightly and put on a little music, but otherwise, the room was lovely. Would definitely return. Probably many times. Don't skip the house-aged ham or the Solomon cocktail.

    We have been dining at City House for over 15 years and have never had anything but superb food and professional service. It is our favorite dining spot.

    Everyone from the person at the welcome desk to the waitress to the manager (he stopped at the table to shave the truffles and asked how our experience was on the way out) was lovely. The food was excellent. Loved the cheese “ball” and the gnocchi. The pizza dough was perfect. Hadn’t been back in years but will put on my rotation list again!

    City House, under the direction of Tandy Wilson, has always been the best. I miss it, even though I now live near Portland where there are also many chef run restaurants, City House is always the best!

    The meal was fantastic but it was so so loud and the service was beyond slow until later into the night. We were in no hurry but it took our waitress a while to get us drinks and refills on our drinks which was annoying

    Awesome experience for a surprise birthday party we had planned! The family style menu was awesome and everything we selected was delicious! We love City House!

    Amazing experience all around. Belly ham pizza, sausage, pappardelle pasta everything was to perfection. Second time and will be back. Service is impeccable.
