Cinnamon is a comfortable and spacious eatery, coffee house and fully licenced restaurant with a family of warm, genuine and friendly staff located on Shelbourne Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4. We have an extensive breakfast and Brunch/ lunch menu 7 days a week. The coronation chicken is as good as the rumours say. Our A La Carte dinner menu is tailored to suit all palates and pockets. When accompanied by one of our delicious wines from our extensive list, you are sure to have a memorable feast.

Busy pre match dinner, staff under pressure, didn’t seem to have enough wait staff on. Ordering food took 40 mins, and was very slow to arrive.Dinner menu very limited compared to advertised on website, just burgers or pizza. Got out just in time for match despite giving ourselves 2 hours to dine!

There was clearly a staffing issue, the service was extremely poor, 40 minutes before the drinks order arrived. Very little communication from the waitress, her supervisor stepped on later and was massaging a number of tables waiting for food. Food was mediocre, chicken wings, pizzas and burgers should not be a challenge for any kitchen but it clearly was for Cinnamon.

Incredibly restricted menu, only 3 burgers and 4 pizzas as it was busy night, not even 1 pasta dish which are normally on the menu. Margarita pizza was undercooked why too doughy. Service was ok but only 1 red wine glass!

I feel for the young staff who worked hard but there is something amiss here - if you have a limited menu of 7 main courses, 4 of which are pizza it's a very bad start to be told no pizza is available after reviewing the menu and selecting pizza. Got chicken burgers instead, which were very tasty but the 5.50 bowl of chips had at most 20 chips, it was evident they had run out of the usual bowls. Wrong cocktail delivered and 4 attempts to get water......I hope for everyone's sake it was just a bad evening.

Second time to eat here, the first time everything was excellent, this time our food was missing some ingredients, eg the vegan nachos had no ground vegan beef and no jalapenos, so were very bland. The pasta was also missing the chilli. Also the beyond beef burgers were not available. On a positive note the vegan fries were excellent. I imagine overall this was just a blip with the missing ingredients and wouldn't be too critical.

We were a group of 6 that had booked a table for a Sunday brunch. They had set the table with some dirty cutlery and didn't even provide a glass for every person. After ordering, we had to wait for our food for a very long time. They brought only one person's meal and forgot about everyone else. 40 minutes later they started bringing other dishes as well but still some orders were wrong and we had to remind them MULTIPLE TIMES that we had also ordered some sides. By the time they brought sauces and sides we had almost finished with the mains as we were super hungry and had waited for our food over an hour. It was very chaotic and unorganised. Food itself was good though.
