We came here for my mother in law’s 60th birthday meal and everything from start until finish was perfect! Food was flawless, service was excellent and they even brought out a cake with a candle on for her birthday! Pricing was good for the portion sizes and the ambiance, very good value for money. We will definitely go back here and will recommend to everyone coming to Manchester. Thank you Cibo

Having experienced a good lunch decided to go and have an evening out at the restaurant. A manager called Foste was their saviour otherwise would not be returning. Ordered a halal steak and was told the peppercorn sauce had alcohol in it. If offering halal then should also be mindful that those who order halal will not have alcohol either. I asked if they could make me some without the alcohol. The first manager said “if it was a Tuesday night yes but you’ve got no chance tonight!” He was rude and condescending!! Also tried telling me it was ok as the alcohol evaporated!! Not what you expect from a top end place like this. For dessert ordered a chocolate fondant and it turned out to be a chocolate sponge cake!! When ordering a Fondant expected some soft chocolate sauce in the centre!! As I said Foste and his customer skills were brilliant, what a gentleman!

The service was appalling . 5 of us rammed onto a table that was just big enough for 3.when plenty of other tables available. Took genuinely 12 min to first offered a drink. All our mains & sides came at separate times. I had to clean our table once we had eaten,waiters just kept walking past. Our desserts didn’t even arrive. We paid & left. The head waiter knew we had been treated extremely poorly …. His exact words …. Sorry about that … Carry on like this , it won’t last.

Good food, very nice chateaubriand but would have been better if we’d been given warm plates. Attentive service. Would go again.

Terrible service. Had finished starters before any drink arrived. We had to chase drinks twice. Same with dessert. Finished dessert before a drink arrived and we had to chase the drinks again.

My risotto was extremely bland, could tell the fish was fresh but there was little to no taste other than that.

Our third time at this restaurant in two months. Lovely staff, beautiful room and we both loved the food again! Will be back for sure whenever we visit Manchester . Phillip P Keene
