CHOP was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. All of this quality comes with friendly hospitality in warm and energetic rooms. Open for lunch, happy hour, dinner and late-night!

We had an amazing evening with my husband and parents. The service, meal and ambiance was wonderful! The steaks, mushroom rib eye soup, no bake chocolate torte was outstanding. We will definitely be back to the Chop House in Ellerslie. Thank you Ed, Sharla and staff for making our evening beautiful. We greatly appreciate it! Amazing food and service. Waitress was very attentive and made sure the food was to our liking. Best visit to this restaurant so far. Highly recommend you to try if it's your first time.

We really enjoyed our dinner for two, the prime rib we chose was the best ever! Tender and not full of fat gristle .. veggies were tasty and desserts yummy!

We came in for a birthday supper last Saturday night. Everything was great from the moment we walked thru the door. Our server was amazing and the little extras were noticed and appreciated. Food was awesome. Was well worth the drive from Sherwood Park. Thank you for a wonderful night out.

Frequent here often. One of the more disappointing meals. Christmas season seemed to have impacted the level of execution from the team. Will still return.

Service was fantastic, food was great although my steak was overcooked and my baked potato a little hard but the other entrees and appies were spot on. We were in one of the private tables so the noise level was perfect. Overall very positive experience.
