The food is always delicious and the service is outstanding. The Raspberry Chicken Salad is amazing! (My favorite) You must have the Cornbread wedge (it's large so you can share this item) The Cranberry Walnut Salad is also good. I always add chicken. The Turkey Avocado Sandwich is very tasty, but a little messy. We are from Kansas City and would love to have Chester's Kitchen & Bar expand into the Overland Park, KS area. Please!!!

The menu includes a wide variety of choices in every category from starters, salads, healthy choices, pasta, and meaty entrees. The staff was wonderful, and our food was excellent!

Been to Chester’s many times. The food was great as usual and our server Amy was great, very responsive and friendly. The only issue was the kitchen was really slow. It took over 30 minutes to get our food. This was the exception for our visits. Highly recommend

The cornbread, salad, and local beer combo that I ordered was delicious. Always plenty of decisions to make with their wonderful menu. And as always...just a little too loud for comfortable conversation.

Despite making a reservation we were seated at a very cramped table right next to the kitchen. Our server seemed to have minimal experience and was hard to understand. The food was promptly served (almost too fast as if the only goal was to turn the table). The salad I ordered (chicken chopped) was OK but the rodeo burger my husband ordered was very tasty. I am not sure why thus restaurant is rated so highly as it seems there are other restaurants in Rochester that have similar food fare that you may want to consider trying versus Chester’s.
