Chesapeake’s West derives much of its authentic Eastern Shore qualities from décor that features genuine nautical antiques and artifacts. Pairing this cozy, seaside ambiance with welcoming service and fresh ingredients has made it the perfect spot for creating memorable moments.

As part of the Copper Cellar Family of Restaurants, we offer fresh seafood that’s sourced daily, local, handcrafted microbrews, an extensive wine list and prime-graded beef. We are known for live Maine lobster, Maryland Crab cakes, a variety of fresh fish, and assorted oyster selection.

Chesapeake’s features a raw bar, Sunday brunch, and happy hour in the bar/lounge. Full menus — including gluten free options are available and can be enjoyed on our patio. Free onsite parking and a courtesy shuttle is available for local hotels.

Chesapeake's is my favorite restaurant in Knoxville, but this visit was definitely not up to the usual high standards. We ordered a filet and lobster tail. The lobster tail was perfect and a fair size. The steak was bloody and had been ordered medium well-so had to be sent back. The other entree was a ribeye which was perfectly done to order. The service was excellent as always. For dessert we shared the holiday special butter cake. No exaggerating it tasted just like a fat pancake with maple syrup and all. No buttery tender inside with a crusty brown buttered outside like we'd hoped for. They were extremely busy which may be why things weren't as perfect as normal. But ofc we'll be back bc 1 time out of 10 isn't bad. Probably just a fluke due to the busy holiday season.

Benny Gibbs our waiter was the best. We will return because of him. Grits have too much smoke flavoring in them.

For Christmas, they do buffet service. I wasn’t aware of this and had doubts. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The food was superb, and I loved the fact that I was able to eat so many different kinds of food. It was a terrific experience. I can’t wait to return. The crab cakes are the best by the way.

Great place Excellent buffet choices however many hot items were only lukewarm at best I know it was a holiday buffet but in such an excellent restaurant no excuses for cold entrees

We were disappointed. We had reservations and still waited over thirty minutes. Food was only ok. I will never go back
