We took friends as our last visit was enjoyable but Sadly our visit yesterday didn’t match our previous experience. Food was average…. my husband’s steak baguette was tough & my BLT tasted of fish!! No draft beer as the gas had not been delivered so disappointing. Quite expensive for what’s on offer… £11.40 for a glass of wine. Not sure if I’ll go back 🥺

My husband and our friend had a lovely Sunday lunch of vegetable soup, the salad with chicken and a cake to finish. We have all enjoyed our meal and have heard that the menu will shortly change. An excellent excuse to return soon.

I ordered the Cajun chicken burger but I was disappointed as the seasoning and spiciness was bland. I've had Cajun food in the USA and there it was generally quiet highly spiced.

We had the lunch menu. Having had the Harissa Cauliflower steak before, sadly today's offering was well below par and a great disappointment - no steak just some rather tired florets in harissa and a vegetable curry instead of the warm coconut dhal. Everyone else's meals were very good although the portions are very generous and proved too much for one of our party. We were offered the opportunity for a 'doggy box'. Service was friendly, efficient and slick. It is expensive but the unusual menu, quality of the food and surroundings make it a special place to eat. Recommended.

This was our 2nd visit to Chatsworth Kitchen for brunch mid-morning. The food, service and ambience are really good. Excellent full english with high quality ingredients. Good vegetarian breakfast too. Also the fresh orange juice and coffee were very good. My favourite is the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. It is set in the Peak Village shopping place - lovely selection of shops there and free parking. Not far from Chatsworth House.

Needed plates warm food went cold very quickly Waited for table to be cleaned just didn’t come back to take desert we decided not to wait any longer glad to leave won’t be going back .

What a beautiful venue, and the staff are lovely. The food however is quite expensive and my salad was soggy with dressing. I should have asked for it separately but didn’t want to make a fuss, as it was my birthday treat. Would go again for a special occasion but only as a treat.

Just amazing from start to finish for my 73rd birthday. We were running late for our booking at 1.30pm due to our guests, but a change of booking to 2.00pm was accommodated without question. Our guests then arrived early - and were accommodated seamlessly. We then had a hiccup with the bill (which was of our making). Eagle eyed customer service assistant spotted it, and all was resolved. The food was out of this world; best frites ever! Above all was the customer service; just exemplary.
