Great experience at Char. Irena was a wonderful server. She let me sample wine to pick the perfect pairing for my food. Food arrived quickly and was cooked perfectly. Everything was wonderful. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time. Food was all delicious. Our wait staff was friendly and very helpful. Always our first choice for a fabulous meal and service!

Steaks were fantastic, mashed potatoes were not great. But our server was amazing and comped the mashed potatoes.

This was our favorite part of our entire stay at Grand View Lodge! The service was outstanding, the food was incredible and the atmosphere was classy. 12/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟🌟

We had a wonderful time! The oysters are top notch!! Ordered two orders they were so good. Our service from Iryna was outstanding. Great suggestion on wine, steaks cooked perfectly, and the quiet corner was perfect.

Char at Grandview Lodge is by far one of my favorite restaurants in the Brainerd Lakes Area. There #1 menu item for me is the Prime Rib, unfortunately, this was only available Friday and Saturday evenings which was disappointing because it was a Holiday Weekend and I was really looking forward to having it! However, the food here is outstanding and the atmosphere is relaxing. We had a cozy table by the fireplace which was perfect for a cold winter evening. Their servers are outstanding which really differentiates Grandview Lodge from other local restaurants. I would 100% recommend.

Their new menu was delicious! We had the crab appetizer (amazing) and the NY Strip steak (great flavor). Iryna is a spectacular server! I’m gluten free and there were many options for me.

The CHAR restaurant is located inside the iconic Grandview Lodge. The best steaks and food in the Brainerd Lakes area. The staff is awesome, and the ambience is second to none.
