El Chamard Vineyards fue establecido en 1983 y es una de las primeras Rutas del Vino de Connecticut. El Chamard está escondido entre el estrecho de Long Island y el río Connecticut, y disfruta de un microclima marino ideal para el cultivo de la Vitis Vinifera europea (que incluye Chardonnay, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot y Pinot Noir). El Chamards ha querido producir vinos de inspiración francesa en la línea de playa de Connecticut. Everyone was very friendly and the service was impeccable. There are many food choices and our meals were delicious. The grilled cheese with onions tasted exactly like French onion soup! The atmosphere was beautiful. I'm sure it's gorgeous in the warmer months.

This is not our first time at Chamard and we cannot fault in any way. The ambience the staff the food the wine are all wonderful. I cannot believe that we have lived so close this wonderful winery and have only just found this place within the past six months! Can’t recommend Chamard Winery so much, everything about this venue is amazing.

The food was superb! We started with the appetizer that was cheese in the pastry puff. We had a steak special that was so delicious and the chicken dish. The wine was also very good. Our server Garrett was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and the wine. Great place for food and the wine!
