    I had never had southern Thai food before. I don’t know what to compare it to, but every dish was quite imaginative and delicious. Although the Som Tom Pla soup was quite a bit salty. I will definitely be going back to see if that was an exception.

    Chalong was great for a pre theater dinner for our family. 3 pescatarians left happy and full! Would recommend for before a show or as a standalone dinner out. Portions are smaller so be sure to order as needed. Food comes out fast and everything was delicious. The Crab Curry and Pad Thai were our favorites.

    One of my favorite Thai places in the city. The crab curry and the garlic ribs are some of my favorites, and the Southern style pad thai is a delicious standout from the hundreds of pad thais you can find in New York. The staff are friendly and the service is quick (almost too quick).
