It was my first time coming to Jinsei Motto and had a great experience. The food was really good and I loved our waiter. The food prices were to be expected, but the cocktails were slightly more expensive than the Chicago usual at around $20 each. People didn’t start flooding in until around 7 PM at every table was full, but it was fairly quiet up until then.

This is the second time I go to this experience, and will certainly not be my last. I love the attention to detail they have towards the guests. Having the chef make the sushi in front of of us and talk to us is like them breaking the fourth wall and it’s such a cool and unique experience. Lastly the sushi…every single piece was my favorite and I could not pick. I have never had sushi this good in my life.

Prompt seating even though we were a bit early. The host greeted us and explained the menu. Our waitress was FABULOUS! Very knowledgeable and so sweet!! Would definitely recommend!

What a hidden gem! If you want high quality sushi with personalized service, you won’t be disappointed. I have some food sensitivities and they accommodated all of my dietary needs. It was also my daughter’s 21st birthday and they made her feel special. They comped the dessert and made sure she had a special birthday shot that the waitress did with us. A don’t miss experience!!
