Catalina is an iconic harbourside restaurant, family owned and operated since 1994. It is a light airy modern space with wonderful views, floor to ceiling glass, and outdoor balcony seating. The menu is Mediterranean-inspired and features sustainable seafood from the best producers Australia-wide, and grass fed and free range meat and poultry. The wine list is one of the best wine lists in Australia, featuring over 800 wines, and receiving a 3 Goblet rating every year in the Wine List of the Year Awards. The service is welcoming, friendly, informal and yet, professional. An ideal venue for all occasions: from everyday dining, to business lunches, to celebrations, to wedding receptions and events. We have wined and dined at Catalina for several decades. Every aspect of the experiences have been outstanding. A bit pricey but certainly ticks the special occasion box. Their birthday club is a big winner. See you in April and September, Catalina.

We had a delightful lunch to celebrate our 40th anniversary. From arrival, we were welcomed and wished a happy anniversary by each member of staff who attended to us. Service throughout was exemplary - personal and perfectly judging the relaxed and informal atmosphere we sought, yet efficient to the nth degree. The food was fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. Innovative and complex combinations of flavour and texture, complimented by a couple of half bottles of well-matched wine. A memorable experience all round

The food was wonderful - beautifully cooked fish - and the location and ambience were just as I have loved for 25 years. But something was off with the service when we visited. Nothing disastrous, but not the seamless and attentive experience you would expect at this kind of restaurant and price point. Overall, though, a lovely evening.

Such an enjoyable evening. The staff were amazing and ensured a lovely experience. The food was wonderful. It’s expensive, but worth it for special occasions.

It took long time to have someone to serve you menu and took long time someone to take your orders. Food were absolutely fantastic and selection of wine was also very good.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary and Valentines Day today for lunch. First visit to Catalina and absolutely outstanding on all fronts. Will return next year for sure!!
