Inspired food in relaxed surroundings has been the watchword for Casson's since it opened. One of the few truly independent restaurants left in the Chichester area, This is fine dining, all cooked on site, using the best seasonal and local ingredients.
The husband and wife team, Viv and Cass have been running Cassons for 21 years, and take delight in making your visit memorable on every level.
There is a carefully crafted wine list featuring nearly 100 wines from the old and new world.
Our experienced Front of House team will ensure that the service matches your eating experience.
We have been featured in The Michelin Guide for many years.
As we do 'cook to order' we can cater for the majority of food allergies.
We are constantly looking to improve our food and service with those touches that make the difference between going out to eat or going out for a meal.

    As always a superb service by the waitress and lovely to chat to Mr Casson. The food was exceptional as always. We highly recommend Cassons always a wonderful experience.

    Really delicious Sunday lunch. The set menu features roasts and also dishes from their a la carte menu making it very good value indeed. Excellent service in a very old oak beamed building of great charm. Our only issue was that it is not easy to find - satnav told us "you have arrived at your destination" but we couldn't see it. For your information it is a couple of hundred yards from the Esso station travelling west on the A27, stay on the small slip road...Even if you do have trouble finding it, believe me, it is worth the effort! We shall return.

    Excellent food and excellent service as always. Only slightly negative thing I would say is we could have had more vegetables, but what we had was really good.

    We enjoyed another excellent lunch at Cassons on Sunday. As ever the dessert was outstanding and delicious. They were also very generous in giving me a ‘small portion’ which I asked for, but also charged half price for my meal. Thank you.
