Casa Mia at the Hawthorne is one of the premier destinations in Connecticut for banquets, fine dining, and entertainment. Our large facility is located on the Berlin Turnpike right in the heart of the state. In between New Haven and Hartford, we’ve hosted area business, families, and tourists. Impeccable service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very inviting. A few events were going on in other banquet rooms but didn't slow the flow of food coming out nor our server attending to multiple parties. The food was good.

Service was slightly slow, but I think there were several other parties going on which probably accounted for that. The veal parm was excellent. The prime rib was less than perfect in that it was a bit dry, but overall experience was very good.

My wife and I enjoyed a mouth-watering prime rib dinner in a quiet setting, served with perfect attentiveness to our needs. Each dish arrived at the very moment we were ready for it. We couldnt have been happier with our anniversary experience.

Service was poor, food was good but overpriced and small-portioned, hidden $15 “cover charge” per person for not ordering food if sitting at a table (we had 4 people at our table, 3 of us ordered food, 1 person didn’t, that person was forced to buy food or pay $15), band was excellent!

Celebrated our 50th anniversary and we were treated like royalty. Fantastic food and the most sincere and amiable wait staff. I can't recommend Casa Mia enough! A fabulous experience!
