The restaurant was buzzing downstairs but we were fortunate enough to have the upstairs to ourselves which was great for my elderly father who has hearing issues. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable in assisting with the wine selection.The food was amazing, the gnocchi to die for! Prawn and tomato rigatoni and veal also enjoyed. We enjoyed some Sicilian wine and finally finished up with the amazing tiramisu to complete a perfect meal! We highly recommend this Roman styled restaurant.

We had a great meal here, the food is authentic and the staff are warm and engaging. The spritz menu is great and is the wine list with authentic Italian wines. If you like mineral crisp white wine I’d recommend the one shown below. We had the meat selection and olive dip for entree and then the octopus and cutlet for mains. All were very good. We will look forward to returning soon.

Gray food again. Delicious lemon’s Scaloppine and crostini with mozzarella anchovies and zucchini flowers. The freshest of octopus salad. Can’t wait to go back.

“I recently dined at Casa Mariotti and it was an unforgettable experience! This family-run gem, straight from Rome to Melbourne, offers authentic Roman cuisine that’s simply to die for. The passion for food is evident in every dish, from the exquisite pastas to the delightful Roman delicacies. The warm, family atmosphere, with every member playing a part, makes you feel like part of the family. Highly recommend for an authentic taste of Rome!” The zucchini carbonara was delicious and also the Roman Supplì al telefono were outstanding. Great wine list and well crafted negroni, the owner is a fantastic host. Grazie mille!

Highly recommend this beautiful venue for a drink with mates in the sun or for some incredible food. The Sunday Shared Feast is highly recommended and incredible value. The team offer are incredibly friendly and attentive. We had the best time and we'll be back soon for the housemade gnocchi. Thanks for having us!

Go to Casa Mariaotti, if you are Italian you can feel your home country vibe, if you are from somewhere else you could discover the Italian vibrant environment! Outstanding service, delicious food, the “Carbonara” and the “mozzarella in carrozza”…mhmhmh 😋😋😋…superlative!!! Guglielmo and his team are an authentic and amazing peace of Italian culture in Melbourne…precisely Rome culture…my beloved Rome 🏟!!! Thanks Guglielmo, see you soon, me and Arianna are coming back with other friends to try all the good options on your menu 🫶🏼🫧🤟🏽🤩
