Celebrate the season with a festive dining experience at Caroline in the heart of Austin. We're serving our hearty breakfast from 7am-11am. Starting at 11am, we’ll serve a special menu designed to bring holiday cheer to your table. Begin with our flavorful Jumbo Lump Crab Cake paired with remoulade. For your main course, choose between the creamy Wild Mushroom Risotto or the perfectly prepared Prime Rib, served with creamed spinach, maple-glazed carrots, au jus, and horseradish cream. End the meal on a sweet note with our decadent Bread Pudding, topped with bourbon caramel and vanilla ice cream.

The staff here doesn’t appear to be aspiring to make any “best of” lists in Austin. Overall very average for the price point.

The staff had read my request to be seated against a wall rather than in the middle of the restaurant due to my hearing problems. That was very appreciated. After we were seated, there was some issue with the waitstaff assignment, and we were completely ignored for over 10 minutes. Kyle, one of the hosts, noticed the issue and effectively waited our table for the evening. While our assigned waitress came by and apologized, she never provided any service. Kyle continued to see to our needs, and I handed him our tip in cash as we left. The food is great, the noise level in the main part of the downstairs restaurant is pretty loud. But, we were able to have a great evening thanks to their consideration of my hearing. This was my second visit, and we'll be back. Give Kyle a raise. He's observant, smart, and service oriented. BTW, we were there before attending a show at the Paramount, and they offer a discount to ticket holders! Check them out. We'll be back.

Arrived 30 minutes before my reservation so I hung out at the bar. The bartender gave me water and asked if I needed anything. She was lovely. The check in host helped me locate a restroom and was very helpful when my friend arrived and I was not where I told her I would be. Our waitress was FANTASTIC and even the professional he brought us our food was so jovial. I hope to eat again at caroline very soon!!

Service was terrible. Food came to us out of order and entrees were brought out twice before we finished our starters. Wait staff was inattentive and didn’t seem to care about our experience. Food was average.

Service and location were great. Unfortunately, the main course dishes were dry and bland (Miso Salmon dish and Lobster with pasta dish).
