We did our reservation and we were asked to wait for 20-25 mins and even after that we didn’t get the table. The staff was rude and didn’t care about the guests.

I didnt expect the place to be so congested. They had multiple tables and I didnt expect to share a table with other couples at arms length. There was barely any room to walk around. The service was pretty bad, we got a pre fix menu and had to wait a long time before each meal. At the end of it we asked for takeout boxes. They took 30 mins to bring the take out meals for us and when we got home and checked, it was someone elses order. Would not recommend.

We had a great dining experience at Carnival. Service was really awesome. Live music added best vibe for dining. Food quality and taste was same you would have in India. Highly recommended.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Carnival, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, the vibrant and lively ambiance set the tone for a fantastic evening. The interior is stylish and inviting, making it perfect for a night out with friends or a special celebration. The food was a delightful blend of traditional Indian flavors and creative modern twists. The Paneer Tikka Pinwheel was a standout, beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The cocktails were equally impressive. Carnival is not just a restaurant, it’s an experience. Whether you’re a fan of Indian cuisine or just looking for something unique in Toronto, this is the place to be.

We had a dinner reservation for New years eve. While Open table showed a package for an 8 course tasting menu for 95 cad per head, we were advised by the restaurant that this was removed. It would have been nice to advise us of this change in advance. That being said, we soon got over our initial disappointment, as our experience overall was fantastic !! The food and service were exemplary ! A big shoutout to Dave who provided excellent service throughout the evening, making recommendations and asking for feeedback, catering to every table. The food was amazing, The live preparation of certain dishes were interesting and fun to watch.I do have a couple of suggestions. While preparing non veg dishes, it would be great to request our preference of the level of cooking, whether rare, medium, welldone, beforehand.
