Carne Mare is an Italian chophouse by Chef Andrew Carmellini offering prime cuts of steaks, fine seafood, and Italian specialties. The menu by Chef Carmellini and Chef della Cucina Emma Glasrud begins with fine seafood, cocktails, oysters, traditional antipasti, salads and carpaccio. Entrées include housemade pastas, seafood and, of course, the main attraction: prime-aged beef, wagyu and prime rib, served with a selection of steakhouse contorni.

Carne Mare is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were met with warm hospitality, a stunning ambiance, and an unforgettable dining experience. But what truly set the evening apart was Kee, our incredible waiter. Kee went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, offering expert recommendations and ensuring every detail of our meal was perfect. His attentiveness, kindness, and deep knowledge of the menu made all the difference. He didn’t just serve us—he elevated the entire experience with his enthusiasm and professionalism. The food? Simply outstanding. Every dish was crafted to perfection, full of bold flavors and top-tier ingredients. The steak was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the pastas were on another level. Carne Mare is a must-visit for anyone looking for an exquisite meal, but if you’re lucky enough to have Kee as your waiter, you’re in for something truly special! We’ll definitely be back—and asking for Kee by name!

What can I say? It was an amazing experience! The service and food are incredible and who knew there were such a thing as a 17 layer chocolate cake!!

Overall, it was a great experience. The service was impeccable—exactly what I expected. The bread and Mozz’ Sticks with Caviar were fantastic. However, for the price, I expected more than two. The food, including the Cowboy Veal Chopa and Fettuccini with truffles, had good base flavor but required a bit more seasoning to suit my preferred taste. Lastly, we had a drink - can't recall the name - which was a spin on a Wisky Smash, and we loved it. I will likely return.

Opportunity for greater logistics planning on Valentine’s Day—long waiting time. Service was not perfect as it usually is. Waited a long time for bread.

We went on Valentine’s Day. Very long wait time for a reservation. We waited almost an hour to be seated at the front lobby door. They had a select menu they would not do anything outside of the there select menu that you can pick from we had some dietary restrictions which prevented from ordering from that menu. She said the chef would not prepare anything else. Then food that my wife order took an about an hour to come out. Not a good experience sent a email complaint and they never responded. Complete bad experience!

Great restaurant. Server Sellwyn was very informative and one of the best servers I have ever experienced. We had steak, which was okay, but Nashville has better steakhouses. Polpettini and Lettuce cups were great. Would recommend it as a nice change from other steakhouses in Nashville.

Service was not what we expected for a $170 per person dinner. And why would you seat people next to a table with toddlers when there were plenty of other tables available? Too pricey but food was good

Carne Mare was great! My filet was cooked to perfection and was delicious. The sides, we got the potatoes & broccolini, were just okay nothing too special. The 17 layer chocolate is WOW. Great place for a bday!
