Carne Mare is an Italian chophouse by Chef Andrew Carmellini offering prime cuts of steaks, fine seafood, and Italian specialties. The menu by Chef Carmellini and Chef della Cucina Emma Glasrud begins with fine seafood, cocktails, oysters, traditional antipasti, salads and carpaccio. Entrées include housemade pastas, seafood and, of course, the main attraction: prime-aged beef, wagyu and prime rib, served with a selection of steakhouse contorni.

For parties of 8 or more, we offer a five-course menu for $180 per guest. It's a wonderful way to taste our most popular and seasonal dishes. Pricing is exclusive of beverage, tax, and gratuity. Whether specified beforehand or upon arrival for your reservation, we take allergies and dietary restrictions into consideration. Please keep in mind that the menu below is simply an example and your menu will be finalized the day of your reservation.

On New Year's Eve, Carne Mare will serve a three-course prix fixe menu for $200 per person. Guests will select their choice of appetizer, entree and dessert. The price is excluding beverage, tax, and gratuity. Wine pairings are available for each course at an additional cost.

The service was great, and the food was, as always, delicious. However, I wish we had been seated in the main dining area instead of next to the bar. It was quite uncomfortable having many people standing by our table while waiting to be seated. I would have appreciated the option to request a table in the main dining area when I made the reservation, as other restaurants I’ve visited offer this choice. Despite the seating issue, the food and service were truly excellent.

The best steak place in the Gulch. We loved the view of the kitchen. The ambiance lacks because it is very loud. Regardless, we will be back.

Large menu for food and drink. We had a large group and the food & service were fantastic. We were in a back room so was much easier to talk with our group. The main restaurant was much noisier. Great restaurant

We dine at a very nice restaurant in Nashville every year for our anniversary. We have dined at over 500 local restaurants over the last 20+ years. The food, service and atmosphere was nice but not at all personable. Food was good and it should be at this price level. A $100+ steak should be exceptional without question. I identified this as our 25th anniversary when reserving and it was barely acknowledged in passing by the waitress. The experience was disappointing. There are much better restaurants for your special occasion. The Optimist, Iberian Pig, Skulls Rainbow Room, NoKo etc are much better options.

Food was actually really good. I particularly enjoyed the pumpkin tortelloni and the octopus carpaccio. Service was a little strange. Our server kept telling us not to get what we chose from the meñu and would recommend something else instead. But I guess he was right because in the end, our food choices were delicious!

The steak was ok but not worth $100 Double baked potato came out at room temperature and I sent it back The bread was the rockstar, delicious
