From the people that brought you Trattoria Carina, Pub & Kitchen and The Diving Horse comes their newest restaurant, Carina Sorella.

Carina Sorella is a casual neighborhood Italian restaurant with a focus on delicious and approachable food in a bright, vibrant atmosphere. Our menu is built around classic dishes - Spaghetti and Meatballs, Cacio e Pepe, Caesar Salad, Chicken Parmesan - but we surround that core of dishes with seasonal, chef driven specialties.

The Bryn Mawr location will include the addition of a pizza oven and a full bar, building on the smaller footprint of the existing location in Philadelphia, Trattoria Carina.

Service was excellent. Felt like we were being rushed to turn our table over though. Noise level is loud. Pricey.

We booked my wife’s birthday dinner here. The staff was wonderful especially our server Jenna. Perfect for family celebrations.

It was an outstanding evening. Everything was served promptly. The staff was kind and accommodating. I was able to taste two wines before making my selection.

Spicy pasta crab had a nice sauce and pasta quality but almost nonexistent crabmeat. Total of five thin slivers, no chunks. Veal ossobuco and risotto—risotto and sauce had too strong a lemon flavor and an odd tasting seasoning. Didn’t finish either as taste was off-putting. Had to request Parmesan and pepper for both. Very unusual not to be brought and freshly ground automatically for these Italian dishes. The highly rated service was certainly omnipresent. Everyone hovered a lot and very anxious to please. Inexperienced and a bit overly invasive. Overall we felt the restaurant is appealing but overrated and won’t return.

An attractive restaurant, good food. Noise bounces off walls. A great distraction. Needs some acoustic sound -deadening tiles. Service excellent, but expect it to be leisurely.

What a fabulous dinner with excellent service. Service are excellent and ensure your enjoyment of your stay at Carina Sorella. It was our 54th wedding anniversary and the restaurant provided us with an anniversary cocktail and dessert. It was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant and talk to our friend Brook at the front desk she’s excellent on our job. Highly recommend this restaurant.

first time here and i loved it. took my sister there to celebrate her birthday and they gave us a complimentary dessert which was very nice. our server jenna was amazing; super nice and great service. the food was veryyyy good and great portion sizes. i love the ambiance and overall vibes of the restaurant. will def be going back
