As with any diner, you feel immediately comfortable and at ease. Like no other diner, it’s artsy and cool. The Cap City menu follows suit, with recognizable favorites like meatloaf receiving unexpected and delightful upscale twists, alongside trendier chef-driven dishes with big flavors. The food and service were outstanding!!! Cams Walleye was the Blueplate special and was fresh and tasty. The burger, well huge, juicy and delicious, as my daughter and husband raved over it!

Very welcoming crew at the front desk. We were seated promptly and served quickly. The menu is similar to other Cap City Diners which was great as we like many of their selections. Our server was very sweet and kept us smiling. The food was as expected; hot, large diner-style portions and delicious. The prices are very reasonable for the level of service and quality of food. This is a cant' miss addition to the Cincy food scene.

We dined at the bar and Andrew our bartender made us feel like regulars despite being our first time there - excellent food and service along with a great ambiance- can’t wait to return!

Four of us dined at Cap City and all of us thought the restaurant was attractive and had a nice ambiance. And everyone thought the food was excellent from appetizers to desserts. The portions were quite generous and three of our four took home a bag for tomorrow’s lunch. The service on the night of the soft opening was a bit off in one respect. We were given our bill while still eating. However, the wait staff and the front-of-the-house crew were well intentioned and professional. The general manager came by our table twice to check on the food and service. Very impressive. The ratio of staff to customers was excellent. We gave Cap City ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of a possible five. We will definitely return. he restaurant is a welcome addition to the Clifton area.

Cap City is a wonderful addition to the University-area dining scene! The atmosphere is fun, with a bar for watching sports, multiple seating areas for family and friends, and a warm and friendly staff. And the food is great - a menu with a wide variety of options, and it holds up the Cameron Mitchell tradition of preparing awesome meals! I had the Calamari followed by the Shrimp Pasta. and both were well-seasoned and very tasty!

The food was delicious, clearly made with attention to detail. Service was impeccable, the entire staff was friendly, helpfully and entirely professional. We will be back!

We check out the new Cap City in Cincinnati which is right across from the UC campus. The ambience is very upscale diner, with oversized booths, nostalgic Cincinnati decor with a modern day twist. We started with the wings, which were excellent. Big, juicy and tender. The Blue Cheese Potato Chips were good as well. For our entrees we got the meatloaf which is massive and big enough to share. The City Kabobs were our favorite! Made with beef tenderloin, these kabobs were top notch. We rounded out the evening with a slice of their carrot cake. Which again, is big enough for multiple people! Overall, I thought the value was great for the portion sizes. We will be back.
