As with any diner, you feel immediately comfortable and at ease. Like no other diner, it’s artsy and cool. The Cap City menu follows suit, with recognizable favorites like meatloaf receiving unexpected and delightful upscale twists, alongside trendier chef-driven dishes with big flavors. Desserts at this Cameron Mitchell Restaurant are retro-cool, taste better than you remember, and are showstopper-sized.

So, so good. I've been a regular at the Olentangy restaurant for nearly a decade, and now I love having this closer to home. The ambience is great, the service is cheerful, and the blue plates are as delish as ever. The liver is especially yummy, and the chicken pot pie is always a winner. So happy to have Cap City in the Queen City!

Couldn’t tell that this place just opened. Attentive service on a busy NYE. Food came out quickly and accurately. We had the side room by the entrance which was perfect for a little one. It also muffled a lot of the sound from the rest of the building. Been a fan of their Columbus locations for years and the met expectations. We’ll be back.

The food is phenomenal but what makes Cap City a top tier restaurant is the service by the staff. They understand the importance of Customer Service!!!

Food was very good, kept it simply with the all American burger and fries. My girlfriend tried the triple decker grilled cheese which was huge and very good

Pretty run of the mill. Average at best. Perhaps the Blue Plate Specials will be of value.

We loved Cap City when we lived in Columbus, and we are happy to see it come to Cincy. The service is exceptional. We made two separate online reservations for a large party, and the manager and hostess went out of their way to combine our reservations into one large table. The wait staff was patient and helpful. The kitchen is super accommodating for food allergies and preferences, including a separate gluten free menu with lots of options. We had a party of 11 with some apps, some alcohol, and some desserts with our meals and still left with a bill under $500, including gratuity.

New. Very large pseudo diner, but it's really just a comfortable neighborhood restaurant serving comfort food. Big portions. Decent menu but not very big or diner like. Quite willing to alter menu items to accommodate dislikes. Very good service despite having just opened. (thank you Alexis,) The walleye was delicious. The skewers (really just beef kabob) were excellent. The hamburger was tasty but just average. the salads are easily shareable. Limited desserts despite having a small bakery tucked into a corner. Full bar, but surprisingly not a great beer selection, especially given Cincinnati 's wide range of local breweries. Reasonable prices. nice restrooms. will easily become one of the most popular dining spots near UC.

We were excited to try the new Cap City in Cincinnati, as we have enjoyed going to the Columbus locations. We were not disappointed! Great atmosphere, service and food. Also, appreciated the Gluten Free menu as well.
