    Our dinner tonight was fabulous. We, as a party of five, decided to share numerous appetizers and entrees. Two of us are gluten free, which is never a problem at the Canoe House, as the substitutions can be made on most dishes without compromising the flavors! We ordered corn ribs, snap peas, pull apart bread, Kekela Farm salads, flank steak, fried chicken, roasted carrots, and fingerling potatoes! We all devoured everything and had quite a discussion about how delicious everything was. We would honestly order everything again! Loved the hostess, Janeth, who always makes us feel welcome. She is the best. See you again soon, Canoe House. Very soon! 💞

    Everything was great. The food was delicious. It was a bit on the pricey side but the food, service and ambiance was probably the best we have experienced on the island.

    Best fine dining night we had on our first trip to the Big Island. Excellent service and creative, really good food, drinks and dessert. Pricey but was such a great experience, that we left very happy.

    Although the sunset view was outstanding, the food & drink prices were quite high. We've visited a couple of other fine dining restaurants on this trip to the Big Island & the food & drinks were much better and less expensive. Next time my fine dining choice would not be Canoe House.

    Beautiful food, gorgeous setting. Not great value but we knew that going in. Enjoyed the corn, fresh fish, and cocktails.

    The setting is world class. Service is gracious, intelligent and attentive. Cocktails and food are delicious! Highly recommended.

    When I was here 2 years ago I couldn’t rave enough about food and service. This time Food was okay but not extraordinary. Our waitress brought our entrees and we didn’t see her for almost an hour. We were going to order deserts but we had to hunt her down and it got too late.
