   This was an exquisite dining experience in a tremendously beautiful setting. The staff was friendly, down to earth and well-informed, and the food was fantastic. If you're visiting the west side of the big island, you definitely will want to check out this restaurant.

   Ashley was our server. She was super friendly and helpful. Food was some of the best we’ve ever eaten. Highly recommended the Kauai Shrimp entree and their new potatoes side dish.

   Diane is simply the best! New items on the menu mixed with the old standby work well. We can’t wait to be back.

   We reserved a seat at the bar and loved our time visiting with the bartender. His recommendations and everything we ordered were amazing! We shared the Kampachi entree served with an amazing sauce, an order of garlic fried rice, the local green salad and finally ended the evening with the chocolate lilikoi dessert. Perfect combination for a date night out. Canoe House is still one of our favorite places on the island.

   Venue is special for sunset viewing and ocean proximity. Food was exceptional. My wife chose the lamb chops and I the filet. Both paired well with a Frog’s Leap Cabernet Savignon. Servers were excellent. Pricey but very good.

   We have been big big fans of CanoeHouse for several years. Tonight, as has happened for us several times in the past, we enjoyed a marvelous meal with outstanding service while watching whales just being whales in the ocean just offshore. This just about (silently) screams Hawaii in winter whale migration season. So. Much. Fun.

   Phenomenal food, service and views! It was unreal and beautiful. The wait staff were all incredible, they took needed precautions with my food, and we even saw some whales!!! Amazing experience.
