El Café Spice Namaste es una institución culinaria y el famoso restaurante indio de Cyrus y Pervin Todiwala, ubicado a pocos pasos de la Torre de Londres. COMING TO CAFÉ SPICE NAMASTÉ FROM GALLIONS REACH DLR STATIONAs you exit the station, turn left at Co-Op walk up to the traffic lights turn right on to Gallions Road. Turn left on to Wallis Walk and right on to Shackleton Way then immediate right towards car park on to Hudson Way. You will see a footbridge at the front. We are exactly across the bridge. The walk should take approximately 4-5 minutes. The Elizabeth Line is now open, making West London feel a lot closer to the Royal Docks. Getting off at Custom House and taking the DLR to Gallions Reach can take between 20 and 40 minutes, depending on where you board. Get ready to celebrate Burns Night Supper 2025 with Glengoyne Whisky and MacSween's Haggis, hosted by Alan Wardrop and James MacSween themselves. As always, places are limited and fill up quickly, so book your spot now! The price is just £95, and there will be raffles and auctions to raise even more money for Colonel Tim Coles and his important work. The menu will certainly feature Haggis, and in the 17 years we've hosted this annual supper, we've never failed to satisfy our guests. Mi pareja y yo elegimos este restaurante por la cercanía al hotel al que llegamos a Londres, pero si fue una decepción, a favor puedo decir que la atención y el lugar son adecuados; sin embargo el sabor y calidad de alimentos no fueron de nuestro agrado.

More like a tapas style small plate sharing experience the food was excellent but not small portions as you may expect so don’t order loads but keep ordering if needed. Food was out of this world

We were a group of seven and enjoyed being able to share from the various small plates that we had. Even so, there were plenty of other options on the menu that we wanted to try so will be back soon

As always an excellent lunch. The venison tikka and venison curry together with the beetroot starter were fantastic. We had an aubergine side dish which had a bit too much garlic for my taste.

Food sublime. A restaurant that good deserves to be busier. Will go back to try different dishes because the menu is so enticing.

Had been intending to dine here for ages and planned in a visit to tie in with a trip to the ExCel centre. So many great dishes on the menu, it was difficult to choose just a few - but we selected the Chicken Cafreal Zambeziana (tender chicken with a piquant green sauce on delicous crushed potatoes), Lamb Samosas (very delicate, an elevated samosa experience), garlic naan bread, spiced fried paneer which was actually quite chilli-hot, and the Parsee Lamb Dhaansaak, one of their signature dishes, with tender lamb served in dhansak sauce with caramelised onion rice. We just had room after for dessert of nutmeg spiced creme caramel, and a scoop of Belgian dark chocolate ice cream. I'm still thinking about the garam masala spiced Old Fashioned I had to start, and we had a decent bottle of rose wine with the meal. The team were all very welcoming and friendly, and it was a very relaxed and pleasant dining experience. Looking forward to a return visit, hopefully during a lighter spring evening with views out over the docklands.

Having met Cyrus and Pervin on the Good Food cruise last year we decided to visit their restaurant and sample their food. What a wonderful experience, fantastic food and drink with excellent service from good staff. Previn runs the front of house and is a great host making sure all customers are well looked after, while Cyrus runs a kitchen that produces the most amazing food. Already booked our next visit for February.

It was our first time at Café Spice Namaste, where we had a wonderful anniversary meal in between Christmas and New Year! Cyrus and Pervin Todiwala, and the whole team, were incredibly welcoming and friendly - checking in with us during the meal but not overbearing. The food was delicious and moreish, without feeling gluttonous. Particular favourites were the beetroot and coconut samosa chatt, ginger seasoned lamb cutlets, followed by the apple crumble samosa and zafrani creme brulee!! A wonderful evening and looking forward to visiting again soon.

If you want to experience Indian food with a difference then this is the place to come. Starting with excellent Poppadoms and homemade chutneys, we then had the Duck Tikka special with a delightful artichoke salad, and the Lamb dish finished with an Indian iced dessert. Always a welcome and impeccable service. It’s definitely worth getting on the DLR !
