The Beaujolais Nouveau (BN) event was not what was expected from the advertisement. There were only two BN wines from which to choose. One cost $5 per glass, the other $17 per glass. Knowing BN wines from past experience, I was hesitant to pay $17. However, it was excellent and worth $17. the other was worth the $5, and was a typical BN. There were 4 appetizers from which to choose and special to the evening. Only one was appealing to me. A dining companion enjoyed the ravioli. The rest of us chose from the main menu. There was no BN wine pairing per se. We may have enjoyed the experience more if we hadn't felt misled by the promotional information.

Would highly recommend the seared trout dish- was delicious! I started with a Caesar salad as well and it was very tasty! Such a nice ambiance at Cafe Lunette, perfect for get togethers with friends, dates or even business meetings! Great vibe and the food was fantastic!

Loved Café Lunette! Friendly staff and wonderful food makes it a must in Halifax. Everything was cooked perfectly and made for a lovely brunch. Highly recommended!

Bright, pleasant surroundings. French music. Wait staff all friendly and relaxed. My only complaint was that in a near empty restaurant with so many lovely places to sit, we were seated down in the back at the last table next to the washrooms. And then the tip machine presented us with choices for a tip that started at 18% on a $70 bill.

This was our third time having dinner at Cafe Lunette our experience has been excellent each time. The decor is understated but very pleasant. The food is consistently excellent. We enjoyed the prix fix option this evening and were not disappointed. The service is friendly and professional. The only improvement I could offer is to turn the heat up a bit.
